Akershus cake??

Can someone help me with how I can get a cake at Akershus for my DD's 5th birthday. It is the only princess dinner we could get for our whole stay and I really want to make it extra special. Is there anything else I could do? Could I get a chocolate slipper there? We are going to the MVMCP right after so carrying around a cake isn't in our plans so I was thinking smaller may be key.
Also - do they come out and sing Happy Birthday to her?

Chocolate slippers can be ordered at CRT and Grand Floridian restaurants. I hear you may be able to get them at the Contemporary. Epcot's not on the list.

Check the first post of this thread and call the cake hotline if you want a personalized cake delivered to the restaurant. I believe the smallest cakes offered are not available with personalization.

Do you mean the servers sing, or the princesses? I imagine the servers will sing, especially if you ask them quietly out of the hearing of the birthday girl. I don't know about the princesses.

We were there for DD's 4th birthday in May. We opted for no cake and were glad we did. The server brought out a cupcake with a candle as well as a card signed by the princesses. She got lots of extra attention and didn't miss the cake at all. We also did not want to lug a cake around the park.
I worried we would miss the cake but honestly we were all so full from the meal we didn't even really touch the cupcake anyway.
Be sure she wears her birthday button and also be sure that the birthday is noted on the ADR to be sure it gets acknowledged.

If you're staying onsite, you might want to have the cake delivered to your room.

We ordered the Disney Princess Jewelry Box personal size cake for DDs bday last year for our Akershus meal. She loved it! It was just the right size and the box w/ things inside were easy to pack in my backpack so we weren't carrying them around. You can call the Dining Reservations to order one. You can also attach the celebration to your reservation online. They waitstaff did sing to her, but not the Princesses.
