Akershus--Breakfast or Lunch

Torn here on which meal to do. We are most interested in a good meal and meeting the Princesses. Which did you prefer? Thank you!

We prefer the pre rope drop breakfast. My family is too picky for anything other meals. They also request this breakfast every trip.

we've done both and enjoyed both but now tend to stick with the pre-park opening breakfast ADR ... the cheesy potatoes are really good! Princess interaction/experience was similar at both meals I'd say

I think the breakfast is worth it, especially if you get a early time!

We loved Akershus last year! The food (at breakfast) isn't that weird - they bring "traditional" breakfast foods (bacon, potatoes, etc.) to your table. The buffet has yogurt and granola, pastries, fruit, etc. And there are also Scandinavian specialties (smoked salmon, capers), which is why some people don't love it.

We prefer a pre-park opening ADR so we don't "waste" touring time eating. Epcot is also really peaceful and pretty in the morning. Finally, if you're on the dining plan, I think any meal at Akershus is a good value since it's a nice character buffet that only "costs" one table service credit.
