Akerhaus pre-opening ADR, can you get there thru Int'l Gateway?

I have an ADR at Akerhaus for 8:15 AM. We are staying at the Beach Club Resort though, so we'll have to enter through the Int'l Gateway. I've read conflicting reports about getting into Epcot early from that side.

Will a CM be there to let us in around 7:50 or so in time to get to our 8:15 ADR? I'm already on the fence about this ADR to begin with (don't want to cut into our morning too much, although we don't eat really big breakfasts). So if it will be a problem getting in, I will definitely cancel it!

No problems whatsoever. Make sure you have your confirmation number handy because there will be a CM at the turnstiles checking for them (with his clipboard) before you could enter. Once you go in, you will really enjoy walking over to Norway with little to no crowds (best time to take park photos with hardly anyone in them). I would definitely not cancel your ADR....the food, atmosphere, character interaction, and service are all excellent. It has become a family tradition of ours to eat there (before the park opens) on our first full day. Once you are seated they will allow you to get up to go to the cold bar and to start eating before the princesses start coming out, and once the princesses arrive they will keep coming out until they are all out. We are usually done with this breakfast within 45 mins. of first sitting down, so you will have plenty of time to eat, see the characters, and be done before rope drop. Have a great time, you won't regret it

Thanks so much!! That is exactly what I needed to hear. I was really thinking it was too much, but we are staying so close and I would love to walk through Epcot without the 'masses' as well.

We did the lunch there last Wednesday. The food was great, and my daughters had a great time with Princesses; the picture was with Aurora, and then we had Ariel, Snow White, Jasmine and Cinderella.
