Akerhaus Breakfast and late seating

We just got a late seating (for 9:55--breakfast seating ends at 10:10) at Akerhaus for August. My dd just wants to eat with the princesses, so I was glad to get any timeframe still available. But I am wondering if you are rushed through your meal if you're at a late buffet seating for breakfast? I'm hoping for a relaxing meal where we can take our time with eating.

While I'm asking about Akerhaus, if you've had breakfast there recently, which princesses did you see? TIA!

This is not a buffet breakfast, it is family style.

They were very courteous here, our server spent a lot of time talking with us and explaining how the countries in Epcot are actual exchange programs and it is considered a great honor to be chosen to come work there. I can't see them rushing you out the door...


We were there last summer and saw: Jasmine, Aurora, Mulan and Belle
MY DD12 was very excited about Mulan, just because we had never seen her anywhere before (she is usually in China now though)

We took my DD 3 to that this breakfast back in February Mulan, Belle, Aurora, snow white, and Jasmine were there, she was just in awe over them. My DW didn't like the breakfast and won't go again, but I thought it was very good.

I read on another site that you are served some of your breakfast food family style and they recently switched to adding a small buffet to your meal, similar to the lunches and dinners I guess (where you get a buffet visit but you also get served the main portion of your meal).
Maybe someone who has been there in the past couple of weeks for breakfast can chime in and let us know if it's 100% family style or if there is also a small buffet selection in addition to the table service food.

I am guessing that info is out of date...or for a particular time of year maybe.

We've got a 10:25 am ADR next month & it seems at one time I had the option of a 10:55 am ADR for breakfast.

Since the princesses remain throughout the day for lunch & dinner, I am thinking there would be no rush out the door.

We're looking forward to our first visit with the princesses in Norway. Hope you have a great time as well.
