OK we are trying to figure out if we could make due with a value studio at AKL for our trip next year. The only thing putting me off is the amount of closet space. I know the studios have tiny closets so I am wondering if a dedicated value studio has any extra closet space or would I get more closet space if I booked a dedicated standard view?

I am sure I read somewhere that a dedicated studio has a closet where the adjoining door would be or am I wrong.

Which studios have the biggest closets, OKW looks like it is a good size?

Thanks for your help.

I believe the units in Jambo House (where the value units are located) have wardrobes in the sleeping area, not actual closets.

I am not able to answer your question completely.
Here is my experience with the value studios at AKL is:
Value Studio (no lock off) had a very large closet in the hallway area. Could store suitcases in there!

We got the 2 bedroom lockoff unit on our second stay in an AK value studio and I really missed that storage space that we had in our first room.

Our experience also in 4 different value studios.

I've stayed in a standard studio at Jambo House twice. One was a dedicated and one a lock off. Both times there was only a wardrobe and there was not alot of room in it since the vaccum cleaner and PnP were also in it. We took the PnP and put it on TOP of the wardrobe.

Some of the dedicated studios have a small broom closet that provides additional hanging space beyond what you get in the armoire but not all of the dedicated studios have one. A few of the lockoff studios in Jambo House also have one of these closets, but not many. So booking a dedicated studio increases your odds of getting a broom closet but does not guarantee that you will.
