AK rooms

I was looking at the planning book for 2008-2009 and saw AK had V, S , SV, C. I wonder if anyone could explain the rooms, and where they are. Also, how difficult to get into AK at 7mo due to construction?

Value, Standard, Savannah View and Concierge. Difficulty depends on the view type, unit size and time of year. There is a map floating around of the main resort and where the views are but I don't have it, I'm sure someone else can post it.

Thanks for the response. Are all value and standard villas in the Jambo house, which I am guessing are the top floors of Ak lodge, facing the parking lot or there abouts? I was wondering if the values or standards might go quicker because of low points required.

My understanding is all value and concierge will be in the existing building but the new building will only have standard and Savannah view.

Wow! Thanks for all of the info. I want to take my young nephews in 2009 and thought AKV would be a good choice. The values locations don't look so bad from Lisa's map of Jambo house.

I'm checking into a 2BR value in 13 days! Rented points for the second half of my split stay.

I think Lisa did some interesting figuring regarding the value studios, and determined that none of the dedicated studios actually face the parking lot, or something similar. (Anyone remember the details or can post a link?)

For a 2BR, 1BR, or L/O studio, the values break down as 20% parking lot, 40% pool, 40% savannah.

I'm hoping to be in that last 40%, of course, but as I said to my family when trying to explain the views, I don't care if I'm looking at a dumpster, I'll walk across the hall to see the animals
