I guess it depends on what you want to do! You can certainly make a G+ and/or ILL reservation from your resort room at 7AM (assuming you're a Disney resort guest, if not, ILL needs to wait until park opening at 7:30). The way we enjoy doing AK, arriving around 9/9:30 works very well.

We arrived at 2:00 3 weeks ago and got a lot done. If you want to get everything done I would arrive earlier but there's no need to arrive at park opening with EE and Nemo closed right now unless you like to wander all of the trails. Just a heads up that Kilimanjaro Safari does not run until park closed. We arrived at 5:22 on a day when the park closed at 7PM and the line had closed at 5:15.

Very good tip! Same happened to us. I was really caught off guard by it and someone in my party really got upset.

Says 8-5:30 on this link and can adjust days to see hours for that day but probably best to show up before 5.

I wake at 7am to book passes but we don't roll into AK until 10. But I did book Genie+ and buy ILL keep in mind.

Check the MDE app for the day's hours, and keep in mind that you'll be there right after Daylight Time begins, so it might run later than it does now because sundown will be later. (I just checked for that week and it still shows closing at 5:30, but that might change.)
