AK picnic question

Has anyone done this picnic lately? Wondering how the chicken is, is it really greasy? And since my hubby doesn't eat chicken on the bone, how is the ham? What type of ham is it? thanks for any info.

We had the chicken and it was not greasy at all. It is Rotisserie style. I really can't answer on the ham as we all had chicken.

Is the chicken the same as the Flame Tree chicken?

Not sure. Only had pulled pork and turkey at Flame Tree. I would think it's reasonable to think it would be, though.

Sorry, I'm no help. We had the sandwiches, which were excellent. We might try the meats some time, but since we have a vegetarian in our group the sandwiches are a better choice for us.

I know you all have to pick the same meal (sandwiches, ham, or chicken) or else do it as two separate meals, and you can't get a meal for 1. So if your husband wants ham, at least 1 other person would have to order the ham.

We had the sandwiches and thought it was great.

I thought I read they might be discontinuing the ham, but that was a couple weeks ago and I haven't been following, so that might have been refuted by now.
