AK park hours and Rivers of Light.... after July?

Any word or speculation or rumors...... to the park hours and times for Rivers of Light?
I know ROL is delayed till Memorial Day..... but wondering if they have made any other announcements for park hours for AK thru summer into fall? Everything past July 3 still has AK closing at 5p.

It's not delayed 'til just Memorial Day; it's delayed indefinitely until they can resolve their tech issues. I asked Disney about the hours and got the response below. So far, it looks like the hours will continue to be expanded and AK will permanently have nighttime hours. They just haven't updated the hours on their website yet.

While we still have not been told a opening date for the Rivers of Light yet. Disney's Animal Kingdom will start staying open later Memorial weekend. From that weekend on Disney's Animal Kingdom will stay open late, all the attractions will remain open, however like today Rafiki's Planet Watch, Pangani Forest Exploration Trail and Maharajah Jungle Trek, will continue to close at sunset. Please check out the Disney Parks Blog for all the updated information on all the new nighttime experiences that will start Memorial weekend. Please keep checking the park hours for fall as the website has not been updated that far out at this time.

OH!?? My bad..... I thought I read it did have a new opening of Memorial weekend? Maybe I just saw the "late nights" for Mem. Day?? Thanks.
But it still doesn't say what they mean by "late nights" as the hours are still listed as closing at 5p. I will just keep waiting. Thanks

The temporary replacement for RoL (if you can call it that) based on the Jungle Book opens Memorial weekend. Times for that show have not been announced yet. They are supposed to make another announcement around May 20. Also, AK will be open until 11 pm from Memorial weekend until July 2, and closing time after that hasn't been announced yet.

Right, hours are unknown as of right now, but some rumors are that the hours will mimic Hollywood Studios hours. All we can do is keep checking for updated hours. Hopefully the late summer and fall hours get updated this month.

I am sure the park hours for AK will be extended for the rest of the summer like they are in June but Disney has been very slow about updating the park hours calendar. We are 30 days out from June and they haven't even updated the hours for MK or HS. Plus they haven't listed the ROL/JB show on the AK calendar.

I would also expect late summer-fall hours to be less late than 11PM, more like 7-8PM.

Disney announced that RoL has been delayed indefinitely and the next update on any potential opening date won't come until at least mid-to-late May.

Like others said, the other new night time attractions at AK open Memorial Day Weekend, without RoL.
