The parade usually starts (and finishes) in the rear of Africa next to Kilimanjaro Safaris. It crosses the bridge to Discovery Island, winds in front of the Tree of Life, crosses the bridge to Asia, and returns to Africa via the path from Asia. There are many good viewing spots; the area in front of Asia seems to be less crowded most of the time, and you can get a good spot there even after the parade starts (back in Africa). Or the area in the rear of Africa by the Harambe Fruit Market is good because you can see the beginning of the parade (line up 10 to 15 minutes ahead of time), then get some refreshment in Africa, and watch the end of the parade again about 20 minutes later!
Have a great time!
