AK or Sea World?

I thought I had everything planned out for our trip in Oct. We were just going to stick to the Disney parks. Now my DD is interested in going to Sea World. That means we'd have to cut out a day at Disney! I'm not sure that I want to. This is our first trip (although I've been to MK and Sea World years ago). We may save Sea World for another trip though. We won't be riding any of the big rides like EE. Any advice? Thanks!

If you have already been to Sea World and never been to Animal Kingdom then definatly go for AK. In my opinion, it is better than Sea World. I say go for Animal Kingdom. YOu'll have a blast!

It would probably be more expensive to spend the day at Sea World...with the Disney ticket prices being cheaper the more days you spend there. I'm not sure if you will have a car, but if not their is transportation to consider. Have a great trip whatever you decide!!

If you have never been to AK, I would wait to do Sea World on another trip. AK will be worth it! We did Sea World 2 weeks ago and it is an enjoyable day, but nothing like Disney. There are 3 rides, (all big ones) and the rest are shows and you find yourself just basically walking from show to show. We did fit in 2 of the rides, and you have to pay to store any carry on bags in lockers. That was a bit of a pain!! The shows were enjoyable, but we like AK much better!!

If you have to make a choice; AK (and I am sure most people here would say this)

Seaworld is nice (and has Kraken - I Love rollercoasters), but depending on your time at the world not something to miss a Disney park for.

I think it depends....AK and SW are two different parks. What kind of animals do you want to see?

Don't get me wrong, I love SW but I love AK too and hate venturing off Disney property, but SW has more animal (sea life) exhibits, touch and feel tanks, etc. If your daughter really has an interest in that you may want to head over there.
