Hi! We were there this past Monday and we obtained fast passes for Everest in the morning. We returned at our scheduled time (between 1pm and 2 pm) and the attraction had just closed. There was a bunch of CMs oustide explaining that our FPs would be good the following day and they had no further info on why the ride was closed. Just then, my DD said she saw a guy going by on a stretcher. He was sitting up and alert, so it wasn't anything extremely serious...just wondering what, if anything, happened?
BTW, we had plans for the following day (Tues) but went today (Wed) on our way back home specifically to ride Everest. My DH waited in the car while DD and I ran into the park and straight to to Everest (we both had never ridden it and it was one of our "goals" for this trip.) can you believe the CM tried to tell me they would only honor the FP the FOLLOWING day of the shutdown, and they were no good? We went to MNSSHP the day before, with no plans to return to AK, but made a special trip on our last day to ride. Anyway, I voiced my displeasure and we were allowed to ride.
