AK meal vouchers

Does anyone know if these are still available? we will be arriving at Disney on 3/28. These sound like a good deal. Was also wondering if there are any deals like this available at the other parks?

They, they are still available and are an excellent value. You can buy your vouchers at any restuarant or the guest services.

We bought our vouchers in January at the bakery in Tusker House right first thing when we arrived in the parks.

None of the other parks have the vouchers, altho I wish they would!

We were at Animal Kingdom last Wednesday and bought a child's meal voucher for $5.99 plus tax. This was an excellent deal since the ice cream bar that my son wanted was $2.50 and the Diet Coke that we got for my husband was $2.50 without the coupon vouchers. I was surprised that the ice cream or popcorn plus the drink (bottled soft drink or bottled water) coupons were available with the child's meal pkg. Since the coupon items were worth $5.00 for both, it was like getting the kid's meal (mini hot dogs, chips and child's drink) for 99 cents!

A few hours before we left Animal Kingdom we also noticed that they have a refillable drink cup available there (I think for around $7.99) with refills for a fee. The concessions worker said that Animal Kingdom was a test market for the refillable mugs and if they were a success there they would possibly be available in the other parks after that. Maybe that is true for the meal vouchers as well.

Can anyone get the kids meals or are they only for kids to a certain age? DS is a very light eater and I thought about just sharing an adult meal, but if he can use the kids, he would actaully like the food we get.

I got the kid's meal voucher for my son but I was in the line without my son and they didn't question me.

We had actually planned on getting 2 adult vouchers and splitting them between the 4 of us myself, DH, DS9 and DS2. We should be able to get enough to fill us up that way...shouldn't we?

My friend and I both used child's meal tickets last summer. The only drawback is that there is a limited number of children's choices (each counter service only seems to have two). We found the Pizzafari deal the best for us. Nice personal pizza, drink and carrot sticks for the meal. Then an ice cream bar, and a water bottle later on in the day all for $5.99+tax.

How much are the adults onse ? And what do they come with ??? Also dose anyone have a list of places you can use them at the animal kingdom ? thanks in advance !

the adult vouchers are $11.99 and are good at~ Restaurantosaurus, flame tree barbecue, pizzafari, and tusker house.

We usually use this at Tusker House. They have a 1/4 roasted chicken with veggies that fills me up for the day. We always get mickey bars and a soda later on in the day.
