AK Help

DH, DD3, and myself will be visiting WDW in just a few short weeks! What rides/attractions are most popular at AK with your toddlers? We'll be in AK from RD through lunch.

The safari for sure (my son was 4 at the time and loved it). He wasn't into rides, but loved getting Wilderness Explorer badges (for only a few hours, you won't get them all). He liked the Affection Station at Rafiki's Planet Watch. He loved meeting characters. Seeing the Lion King show (we missed the Nemo one and will see it next week). He loved playing in the Boneyard -- a playground/dinosaur bone dig site (sandbox) in DinoLand USA.

So the only ride we did at AK was the safari... but he loved the park.

When we took my then almost 3 year old daughter, she loved the Safari and meeting the characters. We also did Triceratop Spin (kinda like Dumbo) in Dinoland. The Boneyard was a hit, too. Her most favorites were the shows (Nemo, FOTLK, and Flight of Wonders)! I would at least do one of those.

Safari, Flights of Wonder maybe . . . maybe not, depends on the kid I think. Rafikis Planet Watch with it's petting zoo may be popular, Festival of the Lion King should be a winner, as well as Finding Nemo, and as others have mentioned, the boneyard play area in Dinoland.
