Hi All! We're going at a slower time of year! We'll be at AK on Labor Day.

I have a prepark ADR at TH at 8:15. I'm going to get right on the Safari after. Then head to meet Pocahontas. Straight to Primeval Whirl. I plan to ride Dinosaur with FP and use rider swap(half our party). Later in the day the other half will use a FP for Everest since not all are interested/tall enough.

We're going to all use a FP for Mickey and Minnie.

I can't for the life of me figure out the last FP!

I'm not interested in Kali River Rapids. I'm not interested in getting my hair wet nor my kids being drenched. It seems like Lion King and Nemo don't need it. I'm doing Tough to Be a Bug on the way out, but isn't that a big theater with no need for FP?

Any insight would help!

You could do Safaris again. Different times can mean different animals. Some times in the morning we won't see the lions, but if we go again mid afternoon they're sunbathing on the rocks like housecats, it makes for an awesome picture.

Oooo I didn't think of that! Especially since if I do Lion King, I'll have to go back there again! This would save me coming over another morning to do it! I had thought of coming back on an EMH morning and hitting safari, Dinosaur, and seeing DiVine. However, I'm sure I'll be able to ride rides more than once the wait times last year were walk on! If I do this...I can sleep an hour later and spend the whole day at MK!

Thanks!!!

Aren't Mickey & Minnie @ Tusker House?

Primeval Whirl require 48" or taller and you have Rider Swap someplace else......

Nemo Show FP+ allows you to enter first and some seats (we prefer the center, towards the middle/back) are better than others.

If you're eating at TH, I wouldn't waste a FP on Mickey and Minnie since you'll meet Mickey Mouse at TH. I would wait and meet Minnie somewhere else.

Primeval Whirl never had a wait my whole trip or the weeks leading up to it and only my oldest can ride so I'd be splitting up the FPs again so I was going to ride standby.

Mickey is. Minnie isn't. And it's the only place in WDW you can see them together! I'm excited to see them interact.

I want to have a picture of them together. Taking away this one would leave me with two to figure out. I can barely figure out the one! lol

I say this time and again on these Boards - as long as these elements have been included in your calculus of personalizing a touring plan - looks good to me.

I have same answer to your question: Nemo FP+ so you can self-select center seats in the rear section, not the front, of the theater. We did the experiment and simply had a preference. Going stand-by limits your seating options. Lion King only has good seats, unless you've developed a preference for this theater. Bugs Life is less of a wait than Nemo or Lion King.

Why would Primeval Whirl ever have a wait....48" height requirement in a children's area....for a ride that is far more silly than thrill.

Tusker House - no Minnie - I did not know that. I'll lower expectations for my lil' girl. So it's Donald, Daisy & Mickey, right? Daisy still makes it worth it for us, but I may have to do an Autograph inventory to outline stand-by lines. Rapunzel made the FP+-cut after we were granted all our 7dwarf FP+'s; I might need a Minnie too.

Now we might go stand-by to see Minnie before our first FP+.

I'm really glad you asked your question.

Back to you - have you looked at most recent Cheat Sheets at easywdw - discusses AK. Also, Mesaboy has a good priority FP+ list that is another resource.

Comes down to basics - Animal Kingdom needs more rides and AvatarLand cannot be built soon enough.

Yes, Daisy is there! And SUPER cute in her outfit! Donald, Mickey, and Goofy as well!

I did Nemo FP last time, I'll have to consider that again! Lion King, it didn't matter we sat in the handicapped last time because of MIL and my oldest was selected to be in the show. I think nothing will beat that so seating won't matter. lol

I agree, I totally think my middle would have ridden that with no issues. I was surprised at how relaxed it was with that height requirement! But Dinosaur he could ride!

Yeah, it just feels like there is nothing to choose from! It'll be between Nemo and a second Safari ride. Thanks so much for your help!

Funny, my daughter received the rose at the end of Beauty and the Beast performance, because of that (and we are planning to not sit outside), we are planning to skip Beauty & Beast our next trip.....but daughter is going to Be Our Guest for dinner....to meet the Beast!!

I haven't seen that performance yet! I'm hoping this year!

Some of these shows really make us feel as if we made a good purchase with our entertainment budget.

We usually do either Nemo or Lion King at AK on a given day - two shows can be too much for a child. But if we make to AK twice, we see both shows.

Typically, we see Beauty & Beast too, but we're skipping due to outside heat during our next trip....but we will see Fantasmic!

We did both, my kids are okay with shows. They were there the 3 and 4 year old watching HP in total silence! I was so proud!

Oh yeah, I remember now, we FPed Nemo and went in early and let my youngest, 1 at the time, run around a bit before the show. She's not like the older two who are 7 and 8 now!
