Before 9 on EMH AM is any area roped off so you cannot wait in line? I mean to get to the rapids at ten to 9 and wait after doing the safari and Pangai trail from 8 til done then straight to rapids. I feel this can be done, am i wrong? Is this possible?

Depending on the time of year, I think that Asia (and therefore Kali) might open later than the rest of the park, including during EMH, possibly not until ten. I don't know whether that is true of when you are going. When we did EMH (off-season, Jan/Feb.), we had to wait at a rope, then the CMs walked backward to let us go down the path to the safari.
If you were first in line at the rope, you probably would have plenty of time to do the safari and then the trail, and then head over to Kali, even if it did open at nine. I hope that answers some of your questions.

I have never seen Kali all that busy early in the day.

BUMP. Has anyone been to AK EMH am lately? Is Kali open at 9 and is it roped off during EMH?

I do not think that Rapids is open during EMH. I could be wrong, we usually do not do EMH at AK.

Kali is not open during EMH am I know this. What i want to know is will it be open at 9 with the rest of the park or even later say 9:30.?

I was at am emh in january. Kali opened with the rest of the park at 9.
