AirTran Vets - Can I Check In Online And Not Print Pass??

In order to reserve seats together on our return flight in Oct I was thinking of having one of my daughters do this for us from home 24 hrs. out and just let us know the seat numbers. We'll be staying at the Swan, I don't want to take a laptop just for this and certainly not a printer. In this case we'll be checked in, we'll know our seats but we won't have a boarding pass. Is this do-able?

Yep. I did this in February. We were at my folks' house. They have a laptop, but no printer when they are in FL. I checked in online, got our seat assignments, and got Boarding Passes when we got to the airport. Not a problem.

They might do it for you at the front desk.

Yes it can be done. I will be doing the exact thing for my inlaws for their flights in June. I will check in and select the seats for them and they will pick up their boarding passes at the ticket counter the morning of their flight. I am in IL and they are in MD.

Thanks for the replies. I'll certainly ask at Swan if I can get this done on their equiptment but it's good to know we can get this done for us.

We did this at ASMo at the front desk, it was no problem at all. Have fun!

All the desk needs to do is sign in (as you - your login) from their computer

we've done it both ways no problem.

DS had an issue last January, he & wife had different res # and the clerk didn't pick seats together on the plane. All it took was a phone call to AT & they reassigned the seats; sent new boarding pass - excellent customer service that time.

We stayed in the Swan and did this... Good thing is the Swan has a kiosk to do that on for free so you can print it out there. good Luck. You will love the SWAN
