Is an hour enough time to get though security at Airtran on a Sunday? I know it would be okay weekdays, but I haven't been in the airport on a Sunday in a while.

I think it really depends on what time you will be at the airport. If it's in the middle of the day I think you will find the security lines pretty long. Personally I wouldn't take a chance and would allow some extra time.

If your are talking about a hour just for security I think you would probably be ok, we seem to usually wait 30-45 minutes on a Sunday morning. But if you mean 1 hour from the time you reach security till your plan leaves I would have to say no.
