Airport transportation for day trips to other islands?

My husband and I are, for reasons (we've had a few not great rental car experiences recently), not planning on renting a car. However, we are considering a day trip excursion to another island, like the ones that you can book through the Aulani site. They do not include transportation TO the airport and require at 5am arrival.

Anyone have suggestions on what or who we could use to get to the airport that early?

If it's too much work, we probably won't bother, but we're entertaining our options for our October trip.

You may definitely want to call Charley’s taxi to see what they would charge instead of booking a shuttle—unless it’s private or see how early Uber drivers are picking up at Aulani. Most shuttles will pick you up about 3 hours before your flight leaves. I’m not sure you want to be at the airport that early for a 5am flight.

Yeah, since we'd be doing it as an excursion, it looks like arrival time is that 5am but the flight departs a few hours later. I mean, sure, we'll be coming from the eastern time zone but even I don't wanna be up that early, Hawaii time for a 5am departure!!
