Airport Transfer - Magical Express

Can anyone tell me if the Magical Express from the airport to the Disney resort cost anything for DVC Members? We are wanting to rent a car for our trip because we are doing some things off of Disney property. I've been hunting around for costs on the rental car and it appears if I rent it at the Dolphin on disney property I can get a better rate. So I would need a transfer from the airport to the dolphin....

Magical Express is free to all Disney Resort guests.

I don't believe they will drop you off anywhere but the resort at which you are booked (someone can correct me if I'm wrong) but it's not a big deal to get there from wherever you are staying.

Magical Express is free, but it only goes to Disney owned hotels. Last year we stayed at the Contemporary Resort for the beginning of our trip & then moved to the Swan for the end of our trip. We were able to use Magical Express for free from Orlando Airport to Contemporary, but we could not use it for our return trip to the airport. I had a car service pick us up at the Swan on our last day. I'm not sure if this is worth it but I guess you could take Magical Express to your DVC resort and then take Disney transporation to the Dolphin to rent the car. Please note that you cannot bring luggage on Disney transportation, so the rest of your party could check in at DVC resort while you take free Disney transporation to Dolphin to rent car. Or you could pay to take a cab from DVC resort to Dolphin. Good luck and have a great vacation!

MinnieGirl33 is correct. It will bring you to your resort, but assuming this is BLT all you need to do is walk over to the bus stop at MK and take the Swan/Dolphin (also /BW/BC/YC?) bus.

One car rental agency that is on site will pick you up & you can rent from either the Dolphin or the Car Care Center. Not sure which agency it is.

The car care center has a shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off. You need to book it 1 hour to 1 day in advance.

You cannot take DME to the Dolphin but you might be able to take it to BWV or BCV and walk to the Dolphin from there. From a practical standpoint, I don't see why Disney would care if you took DME to the BWV or to the resort you booked but whether it's allowed or not, I don't know. You should post this question on the Transportation board because there are folks there who know everything there is to know about DME.
