Airport shuttle to rent-a-car location?

HELP!! This is going to be my first time driving in the WDW area!! We stayed at CSR last time. I am going to fly to MCO Aug 17 for a week stay in Orlando and WDW. We are going to stay at Clarion Suites World Resorts, so I definitely will rent a car. How does it work to rent a car from a company like Hertz, which shuttles customers from the airport to their office location just outside the airport property? How long does it take...how quickly can we be on the road...How do I find the shuttle at the airport? Also, can anyone help me with driving suggestions or directions from the North exit area of MCO (where Hertz is located) to 192.

Please, bear with me...Can I ask one more question???

How early should I leave the resort, which is located 4 miles west of World Dr on 192, in the morning to go to MK??? How reasonable is it to think we could leave MK mid-day and go back late afternoon after resting and having lunch at the hotel??

The shuttle busses are located one floor down from the baggage claim. There are elevators and escalators (sp?) . Just follow the signs, which are more than adequate.
The rental location will give you a map and excellent directions to your resort.
I would leave the area at least two hours ahead of your flight to allow for check in at the car rental agency and check in at the airport.
It is hard to say how long it will take until you are on the road, it will depend on the crowds at the rental agency. The bus ride should take no more than 10 mins.
