These might be silly questions but I've only flown 3 times before and not in the last 18 months so I always forget how things work.
Myself, my mom, and my brother are flying out of Pittsburgh for our Thanksgiving week trip to the world. This is my first time with e-tickets (purchased through expedia) and I'm just wondering what is the best way to go about checking in. We do have luggage to check so will it do us any good to use the online check-in feature? Can you curbside check-in at Pittsburgh? I thought I remembered a thread that currently this option was not available there. We will be getting a family member to drop us off at the airport if that makes any difference. No car to park. Thanks!!
This is my mom and brother's first trip to WDW since 1996 so I want it to go smoothly.

1983 offsite
1988 DD hotel
1996 All Star Sports
2000 Beach Club
2002 Yacht Club
2003 CBR

Yes, you can do curbside check-in at Pittsburgh. Just did it last Thursday. Personally, I think it is the easiest way to go.

I was hoping that was still an option.
What part of WV are you from? I just moved from Charleston back to Bridgeport/Clarksburg, where I grew up.

I would print your boarding passes from home, if your brother is over 18. This way you can pick the exit rows(24 hrs ahead) and get more leg room.
Also if you use the sky caps...........you can go directly to the security check points........then right to your gate.

P.S. My son played basketball

at WVU from 93-97 in Morgantown.......go Eers!!

I graduated from WVU in '99. I probably saw him play a couple times!!!
BTW, my brother is only 16. Can I still print his boarding pass from home the night before?

If he is pretty good size, and can open an emergency exit door, if needed, you should be able to.:D

Were you able to leave the luggage and park the car? Or did you have to go in with the luggage to the checked bag scanner?

:wave2: We're practically neighbors. I'm in Fairmont. We will also be in WDW Thanksgiving week!

My 16-year-old son was able to use on-line check-in for our January flight. The only tiny glitch we had was that some of the people at the security check had never seen the home printed boarding passes before and had to double-check before they would accept them.

We were able to pick our seats on our US Airways flight at the time we bought our tickets on their website. It was pretty much a last-minute trip and at 2 1/2 weeks out there wasn't much left to pick from. I don't know if you can select seats earlier when using Expedia or not. I'm afraid there might not even be three seats together if your wait until 24 hrs. before.

We were dropped off, so I'm not sure about being able to go park. We didn't have to stay with the luggage while it was checked when we used curb-side check-in. Just left it with the skycap and went straight to security.
