Airport hotel or early airport transfer?

So it looks like I am going to have to take a 7am flight out of Orlando up to Canada for work commitments. I have not booked my last night accommodation yet and would like advice. I am at Universal for the end of my trip and had originally planned to stay there in a cheaper hotel and take a shared van shuttle to the airport. Now it looks like the flight would be very early so do you think I should stay at the airport? If I stayed right at the airport I could still take the shared van so that would not be different but the Hyatt there is more expensive than my budget. If I stayed near the airport (I know some hotels have free shuttles) then I may be able to not pay too much more for accommodation but would need to get from universal to the airport hotel which would either be an expensive(?) taxi or a shared can to airport followed by a cheap taxi.

Advice? Everything else is planned but I am not sure I want to get up any earlier than I have to so I am not too tired. I wish the hyatt had cheaper options or are there any other airport hotels that are walking distance from the airport for just the one night?

If it were me. I would book a room at the Country Inn and Suites. Take the shared shuttle you have mention, to the airport. Then ride the free Country Inn and suites shuttle van to the hotel. Hotel is only 2 miles from the airport

Thanks. I can see quite a few hotels in that airport area so I think that will be the best option. Good to know about the shuttle at the place you suggested.

About the transfer from the airport you can see them http://kiwitaxi.com as an option, my sister often on business trips and as a rule they have orders airport + hotel + airport. You can also rent a car and drive yourself
