Airport Hilton - experiences? places to eat?

We are staying at the Hilton at the Orlando airport the night between our flight and when we depart on a Disney cruise. Any experiences to share? Does it feel like you are in the airport, or in a nice hotel? Any suggestions on a pleasant/fun place to eat dinner? It seems odd to me that we are not going to be "Disney-fied" that first night, but it also seemed crazy to bother staying at a Disney resort for just one night, given the transportation, etc. it would waste a lot of time (instead, we can have a relatively relaxing night, but at the airport).

Any thoughts/suggestions are welcome.

Well there are quite a few places to eat in the airport concourse. I actually thought it would be fun to stay in this hotel so I could people watch. Though I never have. I think it has an excellent location.

We have stayed there two times and enjoyed it. Once before our Panama cruise a couple of years ago and last year to get some rest with a late flight in. For the cruise is was great, we checked in, ate at the hotel restaurant which was good, got plenty of sleep and got to drop our luggage off and board the buss directly from the hotel. What a huge time saver and no need for a rental car.

The second time we flew in very late and we (10 of us) enjoyed dinner, then a short ride to WDW the next morning refreshed and ready to take advantage of a full day. Enjoy
