Last Friday I flew US Air from MCO to ALB via PHL.
Security lines at MCO seemed to be about 15 minutes around 3:30 pm. That's the good news. Bad weather had check-in lines about 40 minutes long.
The lady in front of me at x-ray had a HUGE bottle of shampoo in her carry-on and couldn't figure out why it wasn't allowed...
Flight to PHL was delayed, we were given priority for take off over a lot of other flights as the equipment was going to turn around in PHL and go on to Glasgow, and they need extra time to prep a plane for an international flight. It was a brand new 757 with all leather seats. They removed one of the lavs and added a row of seats, and there were a couple other changes.
Landed late in PHL and had half and hour to get from as far down in the A terminal as you can to as far down in the C terminal as you can. Electric carts were being paged left and right to get people to even tighter connections, a lot of guys gave up and took off running. I made it on foot without more than a few minutes to spare.
Boarded the 737 to ALB, we left a few minutes late. Because it's a 45 minute flight they didn't offer any beverage or snack service in coach. We landed about 5-10 minutes late, not bad considering how bad the weather was throughout a lot of the east.
