Airport Area Hotel One Night Stay- still using Magical Express

I'm thinking of taking a later flight the day before my resort stay at WDW starts for cost and time reasons (I'm taking a short trip already, Oct 28-Nov 1). Because it will cost an extra $200 for one more night at my resort, I'm looking into an airport area hotel with a shuttle. I am not renting a car, so I would like to still be able to use the Magical Express to my resort at Disney the next morning. Has anyone done this before? Used the airport shuttle to and from the hotel for Magical Express transport to your resort?

Any recommendations on area hotels with good shuttle service?

I'd be interested in hearing about this as well. I was thinking of the exact situation, only on the way back - extending our flight by a day to get a full day in the park, then taking ME to airport late at night with our flight leaving the next morning, then taking airport shuttle to whatever hotel I book for the one night.

I have stayed at the Hyatt Place and the Hampton Inn before a couple of my cruises.
They have free airport shuttle, free breakfast and free Wi-Fi.

We stayed at Wingate by Wyndham the night before one Disney Cruise. Used Wingates free shuttle to get to Wingate and back to MCO the next morning to get on the DCL transfers bus. Worked fine. Simple no frills clean hotel with many family restaurants within walking distance and a reasonable shuttle.

We have stayed at . Embassy Suites MCO

Hampton Inn MCO . Residence Inn MCO . Fairfield Suites MCO . Hyatt MCO

After you arrive at the Airport call the Hotel and the Shuttle will be sent.

Disney use to have no problems doing this - but with the new system not sure - but think you will be fine.

Thanks everybody. I'm thinking it won't be too hard, but it's good to know it has at least not been a problem with the DCL transportation.

I ended up booking through Hotwire and got the Wingate by Wyndham. It's good to know that it worked well for someone else too.
