Time to get ready for another smaller promo. Will it be a Boom for your household or a Bust, only time will tell. Don't forget that the *big* bonus is ONLY 300 miles which works out around $30 so don't over spend just to get that! The biggest bang comes from the individual coupons but again, watch that bottom line. These have also been terrible for posting so don't forget to keep ALL of your receipts, emails and copies of any offers you do use so you can chase down those bonus miles!!!!

Here are my suggestions to everyone,

  • take the time to make a post when you complete offers and add screenshots of the offer in this thread. That way when it comes time to track them down you'll have an easily accessible record
  • Any and ALL promos tend to be slow to roll out properly so if you are able to, wait until later in the day to attempt any of the offers, waiting till Friday is usually your best bet
  • Check the dates the offers are valid, some won't be active yet and others might end midway thru the promo
  • Read the terms of each offer carefully, some you will need to opt-in BEFORE you attempt to use them, the credit cards offers can usually be activated right up until the last day, some can be either printed and/or shown on your phone, while others are just automatically triggered (the product offers at Sobeys tend to work this way lately)

Happy hunting but please don't overspend!!!!!!!

Funny thing - my brother just mentioned to me that Bonus Boom was coming - email from Foodland and I log onto the computer and here is the thread about it. Ooh eeeh oooh. Maybe it will mean it will all go swimmingly.

I wonder if I will get any done. I don't need gas, no Sobeys nearby and don't want to spend too much. Oh well, maybe next time! Will be fun to watch everyone else though.

This one may be pretty easy to do the 7 offers without too much effort for me. I counted 5 easily doable at Shell alone:
1) $20 in lottery
2) $10 Non fuel purchase
3) use 95 cash miles
4) 30 liter fuel purchase
5) make a fuel purchase with easy pay

then
-Jiffy Lube- need an oil change
- at least 1 Safeway offer
- Subway with linked Mastercard
-BMO MasterCard $300 at partners

I didn't see any Shell ones in my app yesterday so I'm glad to know there will be some. I might be able to do a couple then. Though getting gas is still going to be tricky, we just aren't driving much.

I will probably only get 2 shell offers completed. We will be fueling up the truck for the trip down to E-Town to catch our flight.

We are laying low and NOT going anywhere except work and home. We need to test negative to catch that plane to Orlando next week :cheer2:.

yay for you !! Stay safe . That’s like my nightmare .. and I’m sure everyone’s who is traveling . We are off to Buffalo next weekend to get DD15 boosted and go to a hockey game. Her High school is starting to have more cases it seems like. I’m debating pulling her next week to do remote.
I got gas the joys of driving big kid 500 kms round trip every week for an hour half class the shell ones will be super easy. As will BMO for spending $300 at sponsors . Sigh .. still cheaper than residence I guess .

I opted in for the BMO, I'll just purchase GC's from Metro. That's probably the only one I will do but worth it for the 100 AM's. Gas tank is full, no way to get another 30 liters in the next two weeks. Nothing else looks like we need it. It's not the biggest offering so not to worried about it all.
I'll take the BMO 100 and be very happy with it.

Does anyone else have a bonus boom offer from BMO that is get 50 airmiles if you spend $150 at partners? That’s my offer but other family members have the spend $300 for 100 airmiles. I am worried mine will not count but I also don’t want to spend $300 and only get 50 airmiles.

Well that was fun!. Walked into Sobeys this morning and someone handed me a piece of paper. Looked at it more closely and it was for a package of tests. Bonus as I wasn't planning on that.

Did my shop (as planned for 3 cards). Went to the self check-out. Ran one order through, went to redeem my Cash AM. Can't do that at this particular stores self check-outs. Had them suspend the transaction and went to customer service. A few minor issues but got that one checked-out. Did the other two transactions without incident.

Got to the car to review the receipts. Somehow after suspending the transaction at the self check-out and doing the transaction at CS 2 items were removed from the order. Needless to say that meant I didn't get the AM for that offer. Go back into the store with receipts in hand. Cashier wanted to return #1 and then charge for (3) in the same transaction. I told her that wouldn't work for the AM offer that it would need to be done in 2 transactions (return, purchase). All worked out in the end but I am glad that shop is finished.

Mine is also $150 for $50. Should be easy, since I just spent $91 at Shell to fill up. Filling up a van right now sucks.

OK just my 2 cents here.

Wouldn't it have been a nice *Bonus Boom offer* if Airmiles had given people the opportunity to donate x number of Airmiles to the Food Bank as part of this Promo.
Just an idea.
I would have given 95 cash Airmiles. ($10.00) for 1 offer.
Hope Airmiles is listening.....................................:wave2:
Hugs

I bought the cake mixes at Sobeys. The lower priced ones don't seem to work. Took us a while to get it figured out. Ended up getting two brownies and two angel food cakes. The $2.99 confetti cake wouldn't trigger the deal.

There were none of the apples in stock for the Air Miles deal.

There were none of the Liberte dessert items for the Air Miles deal either.

Does anyone know when Sobeys Mike's get posted to tha airmiles site? I did a shop last week and the miles still haven't posted yet.

Sobeys collects all AM from Sunday to Saturday and posts them to your AM account with Saturdays date the following week. If you shopped on a Friday you would see those post by Wednesday or Thursday. Sometimes it can take an extra week at some stores.

Airmiles that do not appear on your receipt (such as redeeming AM cash for 25AM) can take 4-6 weeks to appear.

Hi Hon

I don't know what is up with the cake mixes,,, I went tonight to pick up an order for the Food Bank and
when we tried imputing 20 boxes it rang up 20 @ $2.49 $49.80 ,,which is correct,,, BUT

It came up 90 Airmiles...???? (we did try 4 different types). Sprinkles, Chocolate Fudge, Carrot, and Lemon.
(The actual food price tags all stated the cake mix type --$2.49 price and the blue Airmiles 75 Airmiles logo.)

Two cashiers later they just ended up giving me 375 manually,, the receipt says *Make it right*.. I thought they would take the 90 off but they said they couldn't do that??
Oh well 90 extra miles is good for me.

Oh and it was my *favorite* Sobeys manager who normally hates anything to do with Airmiles that credited me the Airmiles,, I just about fell over in shock...
she normally goes on break when I enter the store.

Hugs Mel
