I booked my May trip, including airfare, through Disney and I just received my final reservation paperwork and DME tags but no airline tickets. Am I supposed to get any kind of "paper" tickets? Whenever I have flown in the past, I've used electronic ticketing so I'm not even sure what to expect.

I'm at work so I could only wait on hold with Disney Travel for 10 minutes before giving up.:headache:

We booked through a TA and when our paperwork came from Disney there were no tickets. I asked my TA about it and she wrote down a number that I had to punch in on the computer at the check in counter when we dropped off the suitcases and they printed out our boarding passes to hand to the next person when we got on the plane.

It seems to vary with the airline when booking with Disney. Ive recieved tickets in hand before, and done electronic check in with only a number as well.

Thanks, folks.

I just talked to a somewhat grumpy CM who said, "show your ID at the counter and they'll print your boarding passes." So I guess I have my answer. Thanks again.

Your documentation should have your airfare information on it. I wonder if you can call the airline directly and see if they can give you a confirmation number this way you can print your boarding passes before you leave?

Right on, CBF! I did exactly that: called Delta, got the confirmation #, checked it on delta.com, printed the flight itinerary, and even changed our seat assignments. I'm a little OCD when it comes to this stuff so I really didn't like this small void in my trip info.

Thanks again, all. :thumbsup2

There should be a confirmation number, flight number and airline name in your packet somewhere? This will allow you to go online and print your own boarding passes at the appropriate times, shouldn't it??? I would not be able to handle the uncertainty of just showing up at the airport on departure day and hoping everything goes smoothly. I need everything in hand, beforehand.... Good luck..

I agree totally. Believe it or not, I scoured every scrap of paper and email that I've received since the day I booked the trip and none of it contained my Delta confirmation number. The flight numbers, times, and passengers are listed in many places but no confirmation number or instructions on what to do at the airport. I actually keep all the trip paperwork in my safe (see OCD comment above) so I know I'm not missing anything.
