Airline Miles Program

Hello. We are new to airline travel. I am looking for airfare for upcoming trips. There are five of us in our family. Is it better for each of us to have our own number? Can I use the same number for all of us? Thank you very much for your help. We are looking forward to not driving for once!

Each person's miles are credited to their own accounts. It would be nice if everyone's miles could go in one account, but that's not how it works.

Ok, I wasn't sure how it worked. I am playing around on the airline site so I wanted to see if I could apply my number to all of their tickets. Thank you for your help and quick reply!
