Airline lost our luggage and stroller, where can we quickly buy new staff?

I would also talk to the manager or whoever at the front desk at PopCentury (I believe that's where you said you were staying?) and see if they can help you. Tell them the situation and ask if they can suggest the nearest store (Target or Walmart will be your cheapest, best bets, with everything you'll need under one roof) and help you get a cab or arrange some kind of transportation. They also might be helpful in rearranging ADRs and FPs. I know you don't want to split up on vacation, but I'd send DH and DD to the parks and I'd go to the store, hoping to be done in time to meet them for FPs or ADRs, if things couldn't be rearranged.

OP, I am amazingly impressed by your good humor through all of this, and how you aren't letting this mishap get in the way of enjoying your time at Disney!

Yesterday we decided not to leave the parks to go shopping because we got a message via the airline's online portal that one of our luggage had been found. We thought we can manage one more day (in the same clothes ) because the bag would be at the resort in the evening. But when we got back to our room, there was no bag. It was not in the luggage services either. They told us there had been no delivery so it was a mistake from AA, again. We have no idea where this bag #1 is.

But because today was Christmas eve, we didn't want to waste any time going shopping and just wanted to enjoy. So we bought some more Disney clothing and went to the parks. Our little one was so excited! It was a very nice day for us :). We went to Be Our Guest and met Anna & Elsa. AND we also got a message that now the bag #2 will be delivered. That actually happened, and we got that bag. But of course it was not the bag that contained me and my husband's clothes but was the other one that was full of baby food and diapers (our daughter is a picky eater and we always have to bring some familiar food from home). It was very nice to get this bag, of course, but at this point we had already bought diapers and much of different baby food from Walmart, so I would have been happier to get the bag with my clothes, shoes, toiletries, makeup etc.

My husband went to the hotel baggage services to ask for the bag #1 again, and half an hour later the manager called that there is one bag with your number - but it's a bike :rotfl2:. My husband went to see it and it really was a race bike which had wrong codes. So maybe someone was going to biking competition and received our luggage instead of their bike. My husband called AA again but they don't know where our bag #1 could be.

Tomorrow we will celebrate Christmas day as planned at the parks and the day after that we will go shopping and buy everything needed. I really don't believe that the bag would appear here tomorrow.

By the way, I had packed pretty dresses to wear each day at the parks :). I had done reservations to restaurants for each day and wanted to wear something nice. Now we have laughed with my husband that the only one of our family who looks pretty in our holiday pictures, is the little one in her dresses. My husband is wearing Grumpy t-shirts :rotfl: and me Disney capris, shirts and no makeup .

Gotta luv your attitude *Hey your at Disney and you're gonna have fun ... no matter what*

So many of us can learn from this ... on a good way to roll with the punches.

I'm sorry you're going through this.

Another tip for anyone reading along... cross pack your clothes, so every suitcase has something for everyone. This way if any one (or more) bags gets delayed, everyone will still have SOMETHING to wear.

As others have already noted, your attitude is impressive. So many people today would be screaming and ranting. But, you're rolling with the punches, even though they seem to keep coming...:thumbsup2
As someone else has said here...it's a good idea to cross pack. That way no one has all their stuff in just one bag. If a bag goes missing, they will have clothes in another bag as well.
I just got a nice carry on bag....fairly large. Now I can pack a few days of clothing...just in case my checked bag goes to Denver while I'm in Orlando!!!

Our last bag finally arrived, and now we have all our stuff :yay:. How good it can feel to get your own shoes, clothes, hair brush etc!
Thank you all for your sympathy, it actully helped :). Now there was a happy ending as we got the luggage. We will deal with the compensation claims to AA (and possibly to travel insurance company) when we get back home.

(And hopefully all of our luggage gets back home...)

Oh I am so so glad. Your own hair brush, yay! (OK that's going in my carryon, LOL...long curly hair, I have to have my OWN brush!)

I wonder where everything was all this time?
