We just arrived to Pop Century. Airline lost 2 of our luggage, stroller and car seat. Third luggage came to Orlando (contains our toddler's clothes and Christmas presents). Me and my husband have only those clothes that we were wearing during the flight (we came from Scandinavia so winter clothing).. Of course we had all travel documents, medication etc in our hand luggage but not much more.
If the bags won't arrive tomorrow, we need to go and buy some clothes, swimsuits, diapers, toiletries/makeup etc. The Pop Century resort shop doesn't have many of those (and of course everything is expensive, like 12 diapers for 12 $). So, is there one place close by that would have everything we need? We don't want to waste any more time than necessary for this mess. Is Downtown Disney an option? I am thinking maybe not? And by the way, we don't have a car.
Our biggest problem is losing the stroller. We have planned going to the parks for the whole days (we have 8-day tickets), and our 2-year old takes her nap in the stroller. She is used to her own stroller which reclines fully, has a good hood and good sleeping position, and us parents like the large storage space. Of course we could rent strollers at the parks, but what are they like? No good reclining position for sleeping child? And quite high prices?
We could use some help - what to do now? This was a lousy start for the holiday
