Airline employee discounts

I remember reading somewhere that airline employees receive discounts on rooms. Anyone able so share info on this or point me to the right place to find out more?

You could try contacting WDW directly. There are several interline travel agencies online which can help.


Dynamic Travel is one agency that has dedicated information for interline travelers.

It's super easy, just contact WD directly. They give airline employee's up to a 50% discount on room only. I got a great deal on the POLY in Sept. Just call way in advance to get the most resort options. Also, I don't believe the 2008 rates are out yet. Hope this helps.

We booked in October for August. All the resorts and dates we requested were available. The time prior to that we booked 6 weeks before. We got Pop just had to split the booking to 10 days and 2 days. We did not have to change rooms. You will need to fax over a letter of good standing aswell.

I used to work for an airline and used the discount many times - always through Dynamic Travel out of Southlake, TX. As others mentioned you can also go through WDTC by calling the main reservation number. You will need to fax them an employee ID and letter of good standing on company letterhead. The discount is booked as a package and is therefore subject to package rules - balance due 45 days prior to check in (I think). Also, unless something has changed, you can add park tickets (non discounted) but can NOT add the dining plan....

I wish I would have known that! My dad worked for Delta for 38 years and only twice did we get ANY discount--one set of discounted 4-day hoppers that we had to fly to Atlanta to get, and a second set of hoppers that he won in a drawing. We would have gone much more often had we known this!

It's a great discount if you plan to stay deluxe. Any employee of an IATA member is eligible. As noted above, you will need to fax a copy of your employee ID and a letter of current employment verification on employer letterhead.

We just got back from stay at CS with airline employee package, room, tax and mini golf tickets. We do this every year since we have family in the area. Its a great benefit!

Are immediate family members eligible if NOT travelling with the employee? DH works for major airline but just DS and I are going?

It has been our experience that the EMPLOYEE must travel with the party.
