Okay people ... get your charge cards ready.
I expect this week starting Monday to bring a minor airfare battle for January February ... so some deals may exist in this week.
Why ... Airtrans fares today are amazing high (PWM to MCO in mid Feb for 1 week is $415 per person!). But ...
Jetblue releases their fares on Monday, and I expect a small farewar to start.
So I will be watching Portland and Boston
Here is a pretty good deal with AirTran for a week in Feb and nonstop flights as well for $99.00 each way or $219.40 return incl taxes. Not sure if you see much lower on this route. You are right about mid February however. There is a $99.00 fare leaving on Sat Feb 12th but the return is like crazy high!

The strange thing is that on the AirTran website a return on Feb 19th is $415.00 + taxes and I found it for $99.00 + taxes below on the matrix ITASoftware search engine. It's also on Kayak but not when you link to AirTran's website. If you link to Cheaptickets.com you can purchase for $120.40US. Orbitz has flight for $109.70 incl taxes.
