Hey everyone! I am flying out friday January 27th and returning Saturday February 4th....flying from the west coast (SLC UT, to be exact! :) ) and the prices have been deadlocked at about $400 for the past TWO MONTHS+ on all of my airfare alerts....

I am wondering if this is "as good as it gets" and if I should book now, or wait for prices to drop....but will they ever drop, or just go up? In your experience is there a time later in the year when fares get lower?

What is your advice? Book now, or keep holding out?

I book Southwest so I can get credit if the fare does drop. I would probably book now and then keep watching. In my experience, fares always drop, but I have always flown from Logan/Mht or Pit not the west coast.
So...I'm not help, am I? LOL

We'll be at WDW Feb 4th-11th. I've been watching airfare religiously every day. It has been staying at over $450.00 for the past couple of months. Late last Tuesday night American finally put some of their fares on sale and I was able to grab great nonstop fares at $193.40. Two days later those exact same flights went back up to $450.00. I usually find the best times to purchase airfare is after midnight on Tuesday's and Wednesdays a few months out. I'm still looking for air fare for my May WDW trip. I go to WDW several times a year and am used to paying $148.00-$220.00 r/t. Right now air fare for May is running $450.00-$490.00 r/t. I refuse to pay that much. I'll cancel the trip first. As often as I go, it won't hurt to miss one trip this year. If it was a once in a lifetime trip or if I went just once a year, I'd have to think about it. I'd probably still hold out for a cheaper flight though.
