I noticed this morning on my fare watcher that Continental is offering a very good fare to MCO out of CVG. It's roughly $155 per ticket with all the taxes and fees added....I know that they aren't direct flights, but airfare out of CVG is usually so high, I thought I'd share :)

Madge, I'm from Indiana and fly out of IND. Over the years I have noticed several people from Ohio and KY fly out of IND, because of the lower fares. I've overheard and talked to people from those states about the high air fares from CVG.

Glad you got a good fare.

Glad you got a good fare.

LOL, I didn't book the fare....I originally had a flight out of IND on Southwest, but with a drop in price and that 15% RR coupon, I re-booked out of Nashville. Nothing against IND, of course....but Nashville is a shorter drive :)

I have been watching fares out of CVG for years....I know people that would book Delta out of another airport, but that had a connection in Cincinnati. They would have someone take them to the departing airport and on the return leg just not get back on the plane when it got to CVG, with carryon bags of course. Delta caught onto that real quick, though.....

I don't know very many people that actually fly out of CVG anymore, it's just too expensive.
