Does anyone know if there is a better chance of getting a lower rate in airfare for our trip Nov. 23 if I wait for next month or so.....or do you think the rates will go up?...Based on your experience...any suggestions?

Thanks

The day before T'giving is the heaviest travel day of the year. I'm betting that unless people stop flying, prices will only go up.

We booked a few months ago with USA3000 for the 25th. From PHL, the 23rd was selling for $119. We paid $69 for 2 days later. Coming home our trip is $59 (12/5). Maybe you can fly on the 22nd to save a few dollars and avoid the crowds on the 23rd (they can be MAJOR).

Through all the searching I did, the 23rd and the following Sunday were the most expensive, but if you book from a company that prices each leg separately you should be OK. I would book ASAP though, because with the gas prices going up, airfares are sure to follow in short order.

Good luck!!

I've been looking for cheap airfare for the Thanksgiving holidays as well. I came in a few minutes ago and thought I would check my Ding and see what was available. I was able to get 3 RT tickets Houston-Seattle for $624 total. Are you signed up for Ding? I can't believe the airline prices haven't jumped like gas prices have. Good luck!
