Airfare for November

When would be the best time to get airfare for November? Should we wait for Southwest? We are going the 1st week of November hopefully.

I actually booked my airfare last month for Nov 2006. I check with travelocity, & then go to the actual website, & see if I can save.

Look now, & if you can get a great price roundtrip, if you find a good price, BOOK ASAP don't wait.

If you plan on using SW or Jetblue, I would check daily for there prices, book with them as soon you see a great price.

While I would prefer Jetblue, I booked Delta for Thanksgiving weekend a few days ago. It was $175. I doubt that it will go any lower for my dates.

I am coming home on Thanksgiving weekend (Sunday Nov 26) from MCO with delta song too.

Are you flying in to LGA or JFK?

Hi Diane

I just booked my Jersey Week trip, the other night. I had vouchers from USAirways that I needed to use, so I went with them. If I wasn't going to use the vouchers, I would have, at least, waited for Spirit to open to see what they were charging.

USAirways already went up from when they opened for this week, so I figured I better do it now before it goes up even more.

I paid $269 for each ticket! I don't think I ever paid that much to fly to Orlando but I was afraid that if I waited it would only go higher. And I want to leave early and return late and didn't want to risk those flights getting sold out, since EVERYONE from New Jersey goes to WDW during this week, right!

I know USAirways usually matches Southwest's fares, so I put in dates for June, on both airlines, to see if they still were matching. They were a lot higher than Southwest.

Thanks everyone that replied. I think we will wait for Southwest. We are going Nov 3rd thru the 10th. I still trying to get everything in order. Trying to get my parents to go but they won't fly. Sharon we may run into you while we are there. Chelsea say Hi.

Purtypat we are flying in/out of JFK tuesday night until Monday . I prefer LGA but DH has been pointing out how often flight are delayed there over JFK
