Hello!

My wife and I are contemplating the feasablity of traveling to Disney World between Christmas and New Years and sharing an AirBNB Condo/Townhouse with my brother-in-law's family in or around the Celebration/US-192 area. It has been over 20 years since I stayed at a time-share off of US-192 so I am seeking suggestions for neighborhoods to consider/avoid.

Thanks!

I haven't personally done AirBNB - tend to stick to VRBO out of habit. But there are several very nice gated communities in that area...I would personally recommend Lake Berkley Resort or Terra Verde Resort, which are very close to a Wal-Mart SuperCenter, shopping, restaurants, etc. as well as pretty decent proximity to the theme parks. A lot of people here also recommend Windsor Hills but I haven't stayed there.

On our next trip, we are staying at Windsor at Westside which is a little further off the beaten track, but looks very nice and we are looking for more downtime.

Another vote for Windsor Hills. Very close to the parks. You might consider looking for a place on ABNB and/or Homeaway but then trying to book direct with the owners to avoid the additional fees imposed by the booking sites.
