You obviously hit post reply moments before i did! We've flown out of terminal 3 twice using this system and it went very smoothly -- coming back was just as slick! Same process, feed your passport along with the customs form you filled out on the plane into the machine and it spit out a paper to hand to the agent at the end of the line. Pick up your luggage and then give that slip to the agent as you leave the luggage area.I just looked on the YYZ website and found this link. It says the majority of passengers will clear customs and immigration in Toronto and travel to the U.S.A. as domestic passengers.

Excellent! Thank you for the description. I get a little anxious when dealing with customs and security. It helps to know what we will be doing ahead of time so the process can go smoothly. You obviously hit post reply moments before i did! I HATE being flustered and worrying how things will go so i'm *THAT* person who gets to the airport hours ahead of time. I would rather sit at the gate reading (or playing Candy CrushExcellent! Hahahahaha this is ME!!!I HATE being flustered and worrying how things will go so i'm *THAT* person who gets to the airport hours ahead of time. I would rather sit at the gate reading (or playing Candy Crush) that be panicking about going through security in time. I always have things printed out (address of hotel, length of stay) so i can hand it to the agent without needing to dig through things. You can google for videos on anything anymore -- there are some great ones out there for the entire process that people have posted to help out families who have an autistic child (or a super neurotic middle-aged woman)
Trust me, the process in Terminal 3 was almost FUN!
Hahahahaha this is ME!!!
We're always way way too early. But that keeps me from having a panic attack.. so early it is. I will watch the videos for sure!
When i watched this year's and heard they were going thru Union transferring from GO to VIA i started freaking out FOR THEM! That station right now is literally a train wreck -- so much construction and poorly marked directions :ODH told me he would never go on the Amazing Race Canada with me due to my airport panick attacks LOL
Any idea why a few years back we would have cleared in Orlando? It was a pain but for the price of my flight I wouldn't care.
To alert fellow Canadians. I got a January flight for just over $300. Saturday departure. Friday return.
My son & his wife got both RT fares at just a tad over $600.00 for late January from YYZ -MCO on AC. I've also seen it pop up on WestJet around that as well. Fares are lower on Tue-Thur and sometimes the less than desirable slightly-red-eyeish flights. Neither airlines announced a seat sale, we just found them by daily stalking of both airlines (i got ours on Expedia and did pretty well too)Would you mind sharing which airline you got that deal?? I've been searching for weeks for a good deal and everything I've seen is around 500 return!
It was with Air Transat yyz to Mco in January. Returning early February.Would you mind sharing which airline you got that deal?? I've been searching for weeks for a good deal and everything I've seen is around 500 return!
