AIR MILES...What to do with them?

I found a letter the tother day showing I still have some 2850 Air Miles.... forgotten all about them. Trouble is there are virtually no flighst from Newcastle so that's no use!

Anybody any good ideas ?

I remember reading about some program that lets you donate them to sick children who need life-saving operations. There's a program over here where we can donate them to soldiers in Iraq.

We've used quite a lot of smallish amounts on days out to the Tower of London, Legoland, the London Eye, Madame Tussauds, Warwick Castle etc., etc.

Check out what might be available in your neck of the woods, or somewhere you might be visiting.

Because DH and I both have AM accounts, we use one for these 'minor' spends, and kept the other one to build up enough for a part miles / part cash deal on our trip to Canada last year. We got 4 adult flights at about half price for less miles than we would have needed for just one flight - I've never quite worked out how or why, but I wasn't arguing! If you have a trip in mind, it may be worthwhile asking about a part miles/ part cash price.

Even if you can't use them for flights, you can use them for the hotels and Eurostar
