Im going on the Fantasy in June, and am wondering if there is air conditioning in the staterooms? :confused3 used to having my room cool when I go to sleep, so i'm hoping they have it. Any input would help.

Thanks!

Yes, they do. But the thermostat is "set". If it isn't cold enough in there for you, you can ask your stateroom host/hostess to lower it or they'll call and have someone come lower it for you.

I couldn't imagine any ship going to the Caribbean without a/c in the rooms.

thanks for that tip!!

Can you set the fan in the Dream rooms to stay on to make "white noise?" I need a fan noise at night. Sometimes hotel units can do this, sometimes not. Thanks from anyone noticed while onboard Dream.

We've been on the Magic, Wonder and Dream and could not hear any fan noise in any cabin we've been in. The a/c is definitely on, but it is very quiet.

So on the Dream/Fantasy, each room doesn't have it's own control? On the Wonder/Magic there is.

We had our own control on the Dream. I think justmestace is saying it is "set" to not go above or below a certain temp. If you want it to be cooler (or warmer) than the thermostat is allowing, you can call Guest Services and they will send someone to adjust it for you.

OK, thanks.

Oh, I wish I had known!! We had a great room but it just wasn't cool enough at night and when I was trying to put on make-up after a shower. I'll know better next time.
