Cruising on the Magic in July! I expect it will be hot on the outer decks, but what about the air conditioned areas?

Does it get chilly in the kids clubs, restaurants?

Is the AC in the staterooms adjustable?

Trying to decide if I should pack some light sweaters or warmer PJ's for the kids.

Thanks again!

The air conditioned areas do get a little cool. So if you usually feel a chill in air conditioning then by all means bring a light sweater. The rooms air conditioning is adjustable so I think the kids would be fine.

We went in February so it wasn't all that HOT outside. But the main areas were a little cool to me. I just brought one light sweater (black that matched everything) to wear over my dresses, etc., that I brought with me every night to dinner, shows, etc.

I always have a sweater or shawl with me for the restaurants, theatres and nightlife activities. I'm always chilly with air conditioning.

It can get chilly out on deck when the ship is moving as well.

tstobb - Enjoyed your family pictures on the DCL. Very cute!!!

I found the dining rooms a tad cool. I wore a shawl one night, a lace shirt over a camisole another night.

Don't worry about your cabin -- you'll be able to control the temperature.

I'll add a category too: you'll probably want a light jacket or sweater for walking on the deck late at night.
