Air Canada tickets

Hi everyone,

For our upcoming trip, my friend who I’ll be travelling with bought our park passes through Air Canada with points. They’ve told her we won’t be able to access the tickets until 30 days before. This is problematic with the 60 day fast pass window. Has anyone else ran into this issue? I’ve read Disney might be able to help if I call but want to make sure I have the right information to provide them with.

All they need is the Disney reservation number. They could then link it in MDE.

Air Canada will only give us the Air Canada confirmation number and not a Disney confirmation number. Any suggestions?

I would call Disney, ask for their recommendations and not hang up until i got an answer that would allow me to make my FP+ within the allowed 60 days. It's going to be even more important now that the hotels in Disney Springs are getting this window as well as on-site resorts. When will you actually be getting the tickets?

Àso, have you tried looking up the reservation on the Air Canada website, in case the Disney number would appear in the itinerary?

We’re getting the tickets 30 days before. When I talked to Disney the other day they suggested I call Air Canada again and try to influence them to change their policy to allow me to get the tickets early. Great in theory but I haven’t gotten any traction from AC - they don’t understand the urgency.

I guess I need to keep calling Disney until I find someone whose willing to help. Our 60 mark is two weeks away.

Yup I would be putting some serious heat on AC. They are providing you with a package deal, they should know why you need it more than 30 days out. Go as High as you can. They also respond well to social media critique. But dont leave it till the last minute. Link them into negative facebook, twitter etc. if you decide to post that way. If they dont then they are not giving you full value of your package trip.

Thanks so much for your amazing suggestion to take to Twitter!! AC was resisting to giving me the code at first, I turned up the heat and told them how unacceptable this is since I’d get more value for my money if I booked elsewhere, and voila!! They mysteriously located my Disney confirmation code.

60 day Fastpasses here we come!
