Hi Folks,
We have made an Aeroplan Points paid reservation headed to WDW (Tampa), supposed to arrive on Thursday next week.. Looking more and more like Hermine is going to inhibit this trip in a big way. Air Canada's call centre wont even accept a call currently and their Social Media doesn't respond. Has anyone had a Points reservation where the location shows up on their daily outlook (which Im guessing it will by Sunday), were you able to make changes/cancel online? Or did you need to navigate the never ending hold that Airlines Phones seem to have currently.
Any insight would be much appreciated.. I know its a hurry up and wait situation, but if I need to take an additional day off work next week to sit on hold it would be good to know before the weekend what others may have experienced.

TIA!!!!!

Are you required to call Air Canada call center or Aeroplan? Despite being the same company, they operate separately. I flew on AP points last month that had numerous changes prior to my departure, all were handled directly by Aeroplan and not Air Canada. I'm not sure what happens due to weather but I suspect you could probably change online once they make the official cancellation.

Its definitely Aeroplan.. I tried to wait on hold for 3 hours today, that must be the limit their system will allow, then it just drops. Funny how I had to call the Hotel and Car Rental, both picked up first ring and I know exactly what the goal posts are there. Timeshare and Airlines less then accommodating (well if the airline was contactable I could just there accommodating nature lol).
