I have a 1 year old a 2 year old and a 4 year old.....And im not sure what bed I need to go with.....If i get a cot bed or a raised air bed im worried about them falling off.....and if I get the floor level bed im worried the the two younger kids could roll down betwwen the bed and the tent wall and smother.....i thought about just buying the foam mattresses to use and have this problem befor?.....also my 2 year old and one year old wont sleep without me in the bed with them.....so them in there own bed isnt an option....

Do they still make a kids' Aerobed? That's what we had for DS when we were tenting (and hoteling) when he was little. It has raised edges to help them from rolling out. DS used it from age 2 to about 5. I have one in my basement (you don't happen to be in the Hartford, CT area, do you?) What kind of bed do you have for camping? I'm thinking that abutting your air mattress against theirs would be close enough to "in bed with" for them to feel nice and comfortable, do you think? Otherwise I'm thinking a low cot would be less likely for rolling out. I know most will say that it is super unlikely that they'll roll out and get smothered, but I'm a worrying mom like you, so I know where you're coming from. Could the 1YO sleep in a pack and play? or no?

Yes....I got a kids inflatable bed with raised sides when my 3rd was little. It wasn't aero, but I think I got it from First Steps catalogue. It was wonderful.

They also make toddler tents that have a thin camping mattress. Probably a little big to put in a cabin at FW but it can be a fun option for kids at grandma's.

I saw an inflatable bed yesterday in WalMart. It had raised sides and looked something like a rectangular inflatable boat.. I didn't look closely at the size, but the picture showed a 8-10 year old in one.

I co sleep with my little ones too. I would just get a bigger sized bed like queen and have them sleep with you. I have slept with my kids when they were younger on an air bed. They did fine. Since your used to sleeping with your little ones you are in tuned with them and will know what is happening.
