Ahoy Me hearties(WITH LINKS ON PG 1). Last day posted 10/17. DEC PTR STARTED W/LINK

Looks like an awesome family outing Dana!!! I gotta do that soon with the 3 of us. My appt is tomorrow morning, i'm getting nervous!!!! Dad, well, i'm not too sure. The story i got was he got in some "trouble" because his meds are wrong. So I'm not sure that's the truth or not, he has PTSD from vietnam many years ago, it's been coming out in dreams for the past 10 years or so.....so hopefully we'll know something soon. Just makes me crazy that I feel i'm not getting the truth.

So glad you were able to get the whole family together for such a wonderful day! Your water pictures were beautiful! It is so sad to know that we won't be able to enjoy getting in it for who knows how long. :guilty:

Thanks for sharing your day with us!

Dana, it certainly sounds like you guys had a wonderful family day together. Lacey ate at that same Margaritaville a few weeks ago. 3 1/2 hours is an easy-peasy drive for us too.

What a great family day, Dana. Andy was in Vegas for a week and he ate at Margaritaville while there.

It's not paint it's actually giant stickers made by 3M the makers of post it notes, they are very common on buses and other transportation modes.

Wow, that is even more impressive; I can't even put a bumper sticker on my car without having air bubbles all in it.............:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:.

Keep me posted on what you find out. I will be thinking about you tomorrow morning and praying that all is well. Getting older takes it's toll on our bodies :scared1:. If I had known how much wear and tear I was putting on my body I would have taken much better care of myself when I was younger.......:lmao: I hope they get your Dad's meds straight. I couldn't imagine the things he had to deal with in Vietnam. My dad was in WW II and I used to be the one having the nightmares from the stories he told :scared1:.

Thank you so much :goodvibes. We did have a good day; I just wish I could have talked my bunch into staying the night :sad2:.

Thanks for staying along for the ride :goodvibes.

We did have a good day and I wish they all wanted to do it more often :rolleyes1.

Every time we pass the Jameson Inn, in Crestview, I think about ya'll. 3 1/2 hours is what we normally spend driving around on my Saturday off anyway, so might as well be going somewhere good :thumbsup2. We need to find a location half way between here and you that we could meet up one weekend :goodvibes:thumbsup2.

Ohhhh that margarita looks mighty tempting....yummy:cool1:

How nice that you were all able to get away togther....we sure do have to cherish those times don't we?

Thanks Kathy :goodvibes. Ole Jimmy has done pretty good for himself :rotfl:. I remember going to the first Margaritaville in Gulf Shores; it has been closed for many years now though :sad2:.

It WAS a good margarita :thumbsup2. I LOVE a good margarita, and try as I may, I can not make them as good as at a restaurant. I have tried making them from mix and from scratch, and they just don't taste the same :confused3.

It was very nice to all be together on an outing. You are so right; it is the little things that make the big memories.

Hi Dana,

Yeah, I'm all caught up!
Great Disney update...sorry you didn't have a fun waitress at WCC...when my husband and I went there our waitress was kind of boring as well :-(

I hope you get to stay at WL sometime :)

I think it's the machines the restaurants use that make their Margarita's so yummy... hmmmm, wonder if I could buy one??? :rotfl2:

How are things there on the Gulf? Now that the leak has been capped are things better, are they still cleaning the beaches? My fear is that news stations will move on to the next story and not mention the Gulf again...

If (and that's a big if) John and I decided to head to the beach for our anniversary weekend, I'll definitely give you a call. We were supposed to go somewhere this weekend for our anniversary but it's too hot to venture out. Man, I'm getting old. Used to, I didn't care if it was hot, cold, raining or sleeting, I was up and ready to go no matter what the weather was.

Hey Christine .

Thanks :goodvibes.

Our waiter was from New Orleans so I guess, since we were from the South too, he didn't feel the need to be in character :confused3.

I wonder what Disney does with the rooms they buy back with the right of first refusal???? I don't see them offering them up for sale again :confused3. I would love to buy WL from Disney.

GIRL, you sure can get one of the machines. They are $300 here and you can buy one at Walmart. It is a Margaritaville margarita maker. I don't want to pay that much, I just use my handy dandy blender......:lmao:

It was on the news that more oil hit the beach at Gulf Shores today :sad2:. I'm glad they got the well capped, but there is 3 months worth of oil out there :sad2::sad1:. I agree about the news; they will move on and forget all about what is happening here.

That would be great :goodvibes. I work this weekend so next weekend I'm free :yay:. Just let me know. I'm getting old too, it takes my breath away just to walk out to the mailbox :sad2:.

Hey Dana!!! Happy weekend!!! :) I'm waiting until it's time to go to DHS for this star wars thing. Yep, we're going. I'll have pictures up tomorrow, so no worries!! Chris is taking a nap, so he won't be too grumpy LOL Hope you're having a good weekend!!

Enjoyed hearing about the family outing to Panama City. Sounds as if you all had a good time.

Thanks for the pics along the beach. That's my peaceful spot. :goodvibes

Wow! What a busy day you guys had in that last trip update! (I know, I was behind!)

I'm glad you finally were able to ride TT. I'm the same way with Universe of Energy--last time I rode it I was asleep before we left that first dinosaur area :lmao:. But I do like Ellen...

Yummy! I love love 'Ohana!

Looks like you had a nice family trip to Panama City, too! I've never been to a Margaritaville, but now I want to go! I'll have to find out where the closest one to me is...probably far away...

Hey girl . I had a very BUSY weekend at work. It is all good though :). I have to head over to your page to see the pictures :thumbsup2. I have 18 days left :woohoo::dance3::yay:.

Michelle, we did have a good time. It was SOOOOOOO nice to have all 5 of us out together again. Before Amanda and Tyler were grown; on my weekends off we all used to do stuff together. I REALLY MISS those times. Dallas is getting to the point that he doesn't want to go with us much any more :sad2::sad1:.

I'm glad you liked the beach pix. I sure miss going to the beach; Dale won't go if we can't get in the water, and we just don't feel safe getting in the water :sad2:.
