I feel like we all need to be in a 12 step program for our addictions to awesome WDW food porn!! I have been on the Dis for a while now(lurking of course!)and am now putting my toe in the pre dining report water,hopefully its not too cold!
I have no idea what I'm doing so please pardon my lack of bells&whistles! Hopefully I'll figure out photobuckets&links before we get back with the food porn!Here's a breakdown of who we are,why we desperately need a vacation&when we get to go!
Me-Brandy 32- I am the borderline obessive trip planner for the family I LIVE for planning!Others might hate the minutia but me, I LOVE IT! Weddings,baby showers,vacations-you barely mention the need for help&I will have a spreadsheet up with locales,prices&extras up before you have a date planned! I was the 8 yr old kid at weddings noticing what font the menu is printed with & what filler is used in the centerpieces! After you hear the WHY you'll understand why planning a stressful trip to others actually saved my sanity!
I love the thought of food but not so much the eating of it! DH has broadened my culinary POV quite a bit but I'm a chicken girl through&through! The only meat I can eat has to be ground to oblivion & pressed into a well done patty!
I am quite happyto make a meal out of sides&DESSERT!
DH-34 - the foodie in the family!Adventurous in food&life,he is willing to give anything a try! Loves stinky cheeses & his meat just a smidge past mooing!He is the sole reason I upgraded us to DeluxeDining!

She has lived on the disneyfoodblog&Dis with me the past few months & is really looking forward to Starring Rolls cupcakes & eating with the princesses of course!
She loves her a good nugget but has actually been expanding her palette,willing to try at least a bite of something before ruling it out!DS-3 1/2
He is our foodie in training!Has a milk protein allergy so has gotten very used to straight proteins & prefers steak to pb&j!He too has spent many an hr drooling over food porn with me!DS-1
Boy LOVES to eat!Kind of like his dad,put it in front of him&he'll eat it!!
He's looking forward to the buffets!
The Why(or a condensed version at least!): 2011 has not been an easy year for us.All 3 of our babies are miracles(we stopped counting at 16 miscarriages)and the journey with each of them hasn't been easy.Each one was pre term with DS1 being the worst starting his life in NICU with RDS,brain bleed on both sides & a collapsed lung with a tear.We start our tumultuous year with his birth,going in to a freak accident with DS 4 causing him to be in ICU for 2 weeks&unable to eat or drink anything beyond formula for 6weeks.Enter deciding we needed a trip to WDW. I sat in ICU everyday with him showing him picutres of all the amazing things we were going to do at WDW & picking out all the things he wanted to eat.Then comes his release from the hospital that transitioned into getting our 6mo old ready for a 4hr surgery. Transition from that to my DH needing emergency dental surgery due to an infection in his jawbone and from that to his work van engine blowing up and needed to be repaired. Transistion from that to him driving our minivan for work&getting into a serious car accident due to a factory malfunction&being in the shop for 4 months. Oh and did I mention the surgery&car problems all happened within a week of each other?And the capper of our BEST YEAR EVER? DH work van was stolen a mere 2 wks ago while we were trying to have a family fun day at Disneyland,along with about $15k worth of tools&equipment! So now it might make sense why planning an impossibly detailed trip actually SAVED our sanity!Our little family would huddle around the computer screen&dream about making fabulous new memories to cross out all the bad ones of this past year!
When: Dec 1-14,staying at POFQ with Deluxe Dining!!We can't wait to see all the fairy lights & gingerbread houses!!! Soooooo excited!
So sorry that this got sooo long!

Welcome!! Could you just imagine the food spread at our group meetings?It would be waaay more than coffee&donuts for this group!! BTW I have LOVED reading about the sausages adventures!Too funny!
