Instead of talking about topics we can't solve we might as well talk about other topics we can't solve. Been noticing the slow progression of a single blocked day a BWV for 2BRs. Every day it moves up one day as being blocked.

Modify more than 5-10 times with one of the dates including the 11 month booking window and have it flagged for manual review. Can't take more than 1-2 mins to review the file and I can't think there is that many you would need to view after cracking down the first year.

EDIT: Oh an in case you can't recognize this is meant to be lighthearted and fun. It is what it is but figured it could be a good distraction.

I'll play :)
I'm assuming you mean the SV studio (as 1 bdrms are fine, & all BWV 2 bdrms are lock-offs). I agree, even if half of the 52 SV studios are being walked, that's a lot for a comparatively slower time of year. I guess this is an indication of how 2021 is going to be with the flood of points from cancelled trips (no sad face inserted here - we've had enough of those)

Ya sorry the studios cause it.

What I don't understand is how every day just the first day is blocked but not the day before or after. Its almost as if someone modifies a 1 day reservation.

I had put in a waitlist for the heck of it (we are staying BWV that first week of June) and it didn't pick up the standard view any of the last 3 days. I am not exactly sure how that is really possible. Very weird.

People are walking for next summer? Holy smokes! We are planning on a very late June - July trip. Over the 4th. Should I be concerned?

Every day there will be people checking out which is why the following dates are available. There are some small categories that may have multiple days into the 11 month window booked but most are just the 11 month date itself. If someone is walking daily (even if they have a longer reservation) then just the previous date will show back up.

Whether walking or actually doing real reservations is the issue, BWV standard studios (and as a result 2BR lock-offs) have an 11-month problem year round, less so during the summer, but definitely a risk for late June to early July, which is the highest DVC demand time out of the summer months;

Nah I think its a shorter window. It 100% could just be coincidence as well.

The thing with single day walkers is it is much easier to snag a day to get the end of your trip and then as they move fill in the front of your trip.

We aren't planning on a BWV stay for next summer. It will be BRV. Maybe that will make things easier. Crossing fingers

To date, BRV rooms have never filled right at 11-months out, so you should not have a problem..
