Really struggling to decide and will only have time for one. I can't find much info about food just that they are buffets?? Can anyone help? What sort of buffet food is at each and what are they like?

Thanks

Agrabah is my favourite buffet at DLP. It's Middle Eastern/Oriental in theme and food

Here's the restaurant thread with reviews and pictures

Restaurant ds Stars is French/european food and is not special in decor, it can get very loud in there. You can get to see a automated Remy which is part of the draw

Here's its thread

You can also look at the reviews on TA as the DE has covered Agrabah in great detail and Restaurant des Stars when I look through them

hth :)

I cannot comment on the latter but Agrabah Cafe is one of my favourites too! Although it's mostly middle eastern food it did have some plainer options, the lasagne is by far the best I have ever tasted. Of course if you're not into the middle eastern kind of spices I wouldn't recommend as it a lot of money for a buffet if you're not going to enjoy the food!

IMO both are good value for money. Out of the two I prefer Agrabah, both for its food (it's delicious!) and theming, it really is straight out of Aladdin. One of my DDs doesn't particularly care for spicy food yet she still found plenty to eat.

I haven't been to Restaurant des Stars for a few years and for me the main draw is definitely Remy. I wouldn't bother going here otherwise as although the food was good I'm not keen on the theming - too much like a boring staff canteen ..... which means that the Imagineers have done their job well as that's what it's meant to be! As Carrie said, it's noisy in there too.

We had to choose between the two for our trip last summer and Agrabah won hands down as I've seen Remy before. Have a look at videos on youtube and if you'd like to see Remy then choose Res des Stars, otherwise I'd say go for Agrabah.

have had a look at all the links - thanks again carrie and ware. Agrabah it is for us ;-)

Thanks for posting this and the review links, i didn't really know about cafe Agrabah but it's defiantly somewhere we will try in March, although there isn't much mention of stuff for kids, anyone know what there is for kids? My eldest will try most things but worried about ds who is 3.

They don't do nuggets or pizza and that sort of thing but there's beef meatballs, kebab meat (don't know if he eats that ?) roast chicken, lasagna (végé and beef), plain pasta, little roast potatoes -is that any good ? I'll try and remember further.. if it helps I'm going mid Feb again so I can have a good look for you :goodvibes
