Agent P at Epcot

It is am interactive game for the kids around world showcase. They get clues on a flip phone style device of things to find in world showcase. When they find the thing that it describes something week light up or do something. (This was a year ago and my 14 yo really didn't need my help so I can't give any exact examples because I don't remember) I think one of them was a cuckoo clock went off. Then when they finish finding clues in a country the last one is always Agent P and Professor Doofenschmurtz. Then they are given a new country to go to. It is fun for the kids especially if they are bored in w.s. Agent P is from Phineas and Ferb.

adventure game that is designed to get people to explore the different pavilions.

Each participating country has a case in which Dr. Doofenschmirtz is hatching one of his normal plots to take over the world. The participant gets a communicator that has clues for different parts of the pavilion. In some cases pushing a button on the communicator will cause an item to appear, or move or change.

The cases take you to different parts of the pavilion and you help save the world. It is pretty entertaining and there are several countries to explore. There are a few spots where you can pick up your mission communicator and you can usually choose the one you want to explore new areas.

I LOVE Epcot but I was afraid the boys may find it boring. This may be just what we need to help keep their attention and make it fun for them. Where do you pick up the device and instructions? Is there any fees?

It is free. You can pick up your device at any one of the three kiosks. I don't know if you still need it but you used to have to get a fast pass type slip from innoventions. There used to be a kiosk on your left as you approached World Showcase - can't remember if it is still there.

You get a cell phone (which has a sensor so you can't accidently take it out of the park). You will get some brief instruction from a CM. Once you complete a mission, you will have the opportunity to leave the phone in a drop box or continue the game and get assigned to a new country.

The stuff it does is really, really neat and the chance that you would get the same mission twice is almost non-existent. We have played it many, many times and once in a while have had a couple of repeat scenarios but no duplicate missions.

Our three LOVED it last summer. Nice to see sections of the pavilion you don't normally wander into.

And - it forced us to chat with a few more cast members than normal.

I would do it.

Anyone try this with younger kids? I think my 7 year old would love it but I'm not sure about my 4 year old...

We did it last summer with a 7 year old and 3 year old. The 3 year old and I wandered around, following and helping the older one. We only did Mexico and it took about an hour to complete everything (we weren't in a big rush and stopped to do the crafty activities along the way). They both loved it and the older one let the younger one find some of the clues.

I would say a 4 year old wouldn't be able to do on their own but would have fun paired up with an older child.

We are going back in May and plan to do some of the other countries :)

This is so cool!!! Thank you all very much!!! Just when I thought there was nothing left for me to discover on this site I found something new that I would have never found out about with out the help of you guys. I am forever grateful to all of you and these boards!!!
